Heat oven to 425° F.
Mix sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl.
Peal, core, and thinly slice apples. Place apples in bowl with above mixture and toss to coat.
Roll out pastry and cut in four pieces.
Place 1/4 of apple mixture on each piece of pastry
Fold the pastry around the apples and pinch together. Place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 425° F. Lower temperature to 350° F. and bake
30 minutes until golden brown.
